New Mexico Mobility Impaired Elk Hunts

This is a rifle elk hunt created specifically for those hunters qualifying for a NM Mobility Impairment Certificate.  For more information refer to our Mobility Impaired Information. Outstanding draw odds and favorable hunt dates make for a fantastic hunt.  Elk are still very vocal this time of year.  We are often able to call in several bulls during the course of the hunt.  Anytime you are hunting elk in the rut with a rifle, it is going to be good.  Shooting opportunity on this hunt averages 75%.  Average shots are less than 200 yds. Hunts take place in the Lincoln National Forest.

Hunt Packages and Rates

Fully Outfitted Elk Hunts - $5,000/hunter

This is our premium hunt package that includes 5 full days of expert guide service, field transportation, 6 nights lodging, meals, and beverages for the duration of your hunt.   When your trophy is down, your guide will handle skinning, quartering, rough caping, and packing out your trophy.  Show up to camp with your hunting clothes and equipment, we will handle the rest.

Semi-Guided Elk Hunts - $4,000/hunter

This is a popular option with experienced elk hunters or hunters who have hunted the area before.  This package includes 2 full days of expert guide service, as well as 6 nights lodging, meals, and beverages for the duration of your 5 day hunt.

Guided Only Elk Hunts - $4,000/hunter

This is a popular package with hunters who want a guide the entire hunt, but prefer to handle their own lodging and cooking.  This package includes 5 full days of expert guide service.  When your trophy is down, your guide will handle skinning, quartering, rough caping, and packing out your trophy. 

Big Game Application Contract

Not Included: Pricing does not include 7% NM sales tax, state license cost, meat processing/butchering, taxidermy, or customary guide gratuity. Transportation to hunting camp is the client’s responsibility. Airport pickup and drop-off service can be arranged at additional cost. Above rates are based on 2x1 guide service, upgrade to 1x1 guide service is an additional $1,000/hunter.


How to Get your Elk Tag

Elk tags are issued on a limited basis, so hunters are required to draw a tag or purchase a landowner elk tag.  Triple C Outfitters provides a Free Application Service and is happy to assist you with your New Mexico elk application.  The draw application deadline is March 23, 2017. 

Deposit:  No deposit is required until you draw your tag.  If you are successful in drawing a tag, a 50% deposit is required by June 30 to reserve your spot in camp.  The remaining 50% balance is due two weeks prior to your scheduled hunt date.
